Soft brake pedal
Hello , I have a 1997 f150 4x4, 5.4L, the problem is I have a very soft brake pedal. I have replaced every component of the brake system except for the brake pedal itself. This includes the master cylinder, vacuum booster, all hubs rotors bearings shoes pads and brake lines. I have braided steel brake lines. And yet for some reason, the brake pedal is real soft and mushy. It's almost like I had manual brakes. I have been told that this type of truck is known for bad brakes. Can you guys help me with this?

Bleeding the brakes
I believe your right . I will talk to the shop about it. They have bled the system twice, but I suppose air could still be in it. Thanks for your reply. :-)

Be sure that the bleeder valve for each caliper is at the high point of the caliper.
It is possible to put a caliper on the wrong side or put the wrong caliper on.
I f the bleeder valve is at the low point of the caliper you will never get all the air out of the system.
