Any of you F-150 hybrid owners pull a travel trailer yet?
What mileage are you getting, while towing a travel trailer? What is the weight of the trailer that you're towing? single axle or double axle trailer?
I am getting a hybrid and will be towing a Grand Design Momentum 21G with my CVO Harley Ultra Classic in that back. Here are the specs on the trailer I'll be towing.....it's heavy and tall so kind of like a sail in the wind...... UVW 6400 lbs, Hitch Weight 920 lbs, GVWR 9995 lbs, Length 26'11" Height 12'1" Axle Rating 5200 lbs Fresh Water Capacity 100 Gal, Grey Water Capacity 74 Gal,, Waste Water Capacity 39 Gal, LP Capacity 40 lbs, Furnace 30000 BTU https://www.granddesignrv.com/showro...floorplans/21g
(21 power boost crew cab 2wd) it’s a pretty big drop off when towing, I average around 23-24mpg no trailer just commuting. But most days I’m towing a 20ft utility trailer for work ranging from 5000-10000lbs (2000lb tw MAX) and as soon as you go into tow/haul mode the gas motor will not shut off unless your stopped and then add the trailer weight I average around 14-16 mpg still not horrible but after filling up at the end of the week after not using a trailer and seeing that magic 800 miles to empty it does hurt knowing you can’t achieve close to that while towing
