New Truck 87' F-150

Bought an 87 Lariat for $800. So here I am joining ANOTHER forum, simply the best place to get help. Brought a 97 Ranger back to life last winter, have decent mechanical skills, mostly motorcycle related.
Charged the battery and engine runs well, bit of smoke from leaky valve cover gasket? Cleaned up and she is looking good.
Everything functions on the truck (so far) haven't had much time to fiddle.
Ive got a few electrical questions regarding some PO tomfoolery. Can be seen in photos below. Disconnected vacuum lines, sensors, fuse board, starter solenoid etc...
I could hunt this stuff down myself but I know how much forum folks love to see photos and problem solve. So here they are.
Thanks for reading and looking. Enjoy the Holidays.

That's a good looker! Personally, I'd rather have a little PO tomfoolery and a clean truck. What's the powertrain?

Me too, thats a flattering angle really, clear is failing in a few spots, but yes, overall VERY clean truck compared to whats left out there, especially for <1k.

Bought from grandson, fortunately grandpa kept decent records, unfortunately that record ends at 150k back in 2010.

He towed a small boat, truck has an automatic headlamp system installed, automatic electric brake controls and a bypass oil filter (w gage).

Real bad kickback shuddering when braking, pedal jumps up and down. Wondering if this has anything to do with the brake controls, or the broken parking brake assembly. Ill have some time with the truck tomorrow to take a look. post some more photos. thanks.
