sure was. They are louder than the past tire. Or any tire I have had. But seemed to do good on icy hard pack today.
You definitely have a bit more snow there than I do a little west of you. BTW, that is a really good price. I just put a set of General Grabber APT's on my truck a few weeks ago for a few $$$ over $1K.

hey buddy! How’s life! I need to swing on over the the Ny thread now.
Have been following/monitoring your thread (here and elsewhere)...
Currently have 285/70x17 Firestone Destination A/Ts on Raptor rims as winter shoes. They're on their 8th season and will probably be replacing them next season. Overall, I'm satified with them (quiet, snow-capable, etc.) and were (IMO) reasonably priced - $640 ($717 in 2021$$$) mounted, balanced, tax, etc. at DI SC OU NTTIRE. *Just noticed that their pricing has jumped-up a bit to $231/tire though is $10 less than the comparable COOPER TIRES.
What I also noticed was that the thread pattern of both brand of the tires is exactly the same.
Anyways... Will be interested in your comments from this season's experiences with the COOPER TIRES.
