Thanks

FTE is a valuable resource. I love it. I depend on it. Just thought a thank you was in order for those of you, past and present, that contribute your learnings and experience.

I am a newbie. A 45 year old newbie desk jockey who jumped in well over my head with a F100 project. No automotive experience. None. But I’m pulling it off with your collective help. Thank you.

Here’s a list of stuff I learned to fix on FTE:

Rebuild my 2150 - blown power valve
Tune 2150
Unstick my stuck distributor
Timing adjustment
Oil leak and Fuel pump replacement
Swap instrument cluster bulbs
Vet fuel pressure - see blown power valve
Floor pan rust remediation
Touch up paint techniques
Battle under carriage rust
Track down Stock wheel covers
Valve covers renovation and gasket replacement
Factory radio - Motorola is actually stock
Check, clean and change spark plugs
Troubleshoot hard brakes, change master cylinder and booster
Track down accurate quality parts
Replace steering gear box - but not tie rods
Select and install weather stripping and window seals
Learned how pricey 8’ bed side rails are going to be…
Diagnosed bad HVAC vacuum valve switch

My tab is still running. Thanks everyone. Hopefully I can give back soon.

And soon to add "change a vacuum switch" to your resume when the part comes in.
