Marten your Truck´s stance looks so good and i like your House
Thanks, both are money pits but both my wife and I are happy. She has her stuff, most of the house, a barn, horses, land and I have the truck, the garage and part of the basement. It works for us.

I've taken drawings with dimensions to my local metal fab shop for his scrutiny. I will probably get the parts made for less than $75. They do beautiful work with really nice welding. I will be proud to display my open hood. I think that I'll powder coat the parts.

I think you are dreaming if you're going to hire someone to make them and walk away for less than $75 ..
Old post. But you guessed it I bought the 115.00 CCP free shipping. Off of Fleebay. and in the process of installing it on my 1955 F-100. I am alone on this my wife helped me flip the hood and position it to install. Right now I am dealing with the spot welds. They are not their. I've grinded off a bit of steel after cutting off the 90 degree flange. Using a Snap on engine hoist to handle this hood. So far so good that worked out, but the spot welds brought everything to an abrupt hault. Dang I hate that. I was doing so well. The old hood hindge on the right side is also an issue, got the left one off. Paint was a baby blue. But the right side is half inch nuts are jammed in tight. In the cab. The out side nuts were also jammed on tight. Both sides. But finally gave up and came off. I hate to complain but I keep hitting these brick walls. Another topic. Brake light switch. Where can you buy the switch that operates off the brake pedal? I've bought 3 new probably China brake lite switches. They have all failed. Went to NAPA and the switch they have is also made in China. Anyway my brake lites are on every time when I connect the battery. AJ
Not sure if you have a hanging brake pedal or the original through the floor but here are some to choose from..as far as the spot welds you could try prying up a little and the welds may become more evident.. https://www.ronfrancis.com/category/brake-switches
