Misfire when hot
Engine runs great til it’s hot, then develops misfire and then complete loss of power then dies…pull over and let cool, then restarts and runs good til it start over with misfire power loss etc.
have replaced all tune up parts, all plugs looked like even wear, wires replaced,…also replace ignition control module. Thanks

Coil or TFI module. Yes, you said you replaced it but tons of 'new' ones are junk now.
You need to mind the grey versus black. I swear grey is early and black is late, but someone will know for certain. My '88 and '92 both have grey.

My '87 is gray, and it's the original.

Misfire when hot
i haven’t pulled codes yet. My factory module was black, so is the replacement. And yes the 1st new one I installed was defective.
Plan to put in the coil and clean the MAF tomorrow.
