If you keep your current truck you'll be missing out on the lurchy low speed behavior of the 7.3/10spd. And the way too fast reverse gearing.

I like to keep it simple, a F250 can't perform like a F350, but a F350 can perform like a F250. When I was asked why did you buy an F350, I said because it's a bigger truck than yours (an F250 owner) he said no really, and I said yes really, lol

Not always… unless you have a long wheel base 350, there’s no difference in your short wheel base 350 and my 250 with HCTT… well, except the badge and the paper derate. Mechanically though, everything’s the same, and my 250 will perform the same.

So you have a 11,400 GVWR, thought the F250 was 9900 GVWR?

No, it’s a 10800 GVWR, but based on the components is technically a derate because it’s a 250. Between the HCTT package and the snow plow/camper package, I have the same heavy duty front springs and the same 5 pack rear leaf spring as the 350, as well as the Dana M275 rear axle. It’s the same components as the 350. (Note that this changed in 2020 and up models.)

Also, if I’m not mistaken, the 6.7L Tremors are the same whether it’s a 250 or a 350 too.

And, FWIW, my 250 with the 6.7 has a 3016 lb payload. I also have a 20k towing capacity and 30k GCWR.

Sweet very nice truck, I know there's minimal differences between them F350 only has at best has 900lbs more carrying capacity

I see a 22k pound Mobile Suite in the OP future. He obviously likes to upgrade. A 3.73 7.3 would be on 1st gear on a 12% grade. We will read a post in a year, my 7.3 with 3.73s is weak pulling my triple axle 44' lux 5th wheel. I'll say spend $80k on another truck. The 3.73s will limit his upgradability. That's all
