Heavy Duty Auto Transport Trailers to Rent?

Maybe check with United Rentals to see if they will do a one way?
IIRC, the payload is too much for UHaul's equipment.
Last I checked on Penske, they required rental of one of their trucks in order to rent their trailer. Maybe they changed their trailer policy since then . . .
Or, consider looking into UShip and let somebody else do the tow.

Closer Look at My Trailering Needs :::
Thanks again to all for your great responses.. I probably should have explained the bigger picture in the opener but here is my current story :::
I am a full time RVer in a Lance Truck camper and I am here in Arizona to sell my camper and purchase a big *** Thomas bus to convert into a
Class A-ish motorhome/recording studio. At the time of the purchase, it will look like this :::
I will be installing the receiver and heavy duty hitch to the bus and will then have only my empty truck to take home to Oregon..
The bus is a Diesel Pusher, is 40 feet long and will be sporting an 8.3L Cummins Diesel engine..

May need to disconnect the drive shaft to flat tow just don't know what is needed to hook the 2 together.

not really.. when my dad wanted to tow the 85 suburban he bought at auction home using his 1/2ton pickup they told him he was going to need to use their truck despite the tow rating of the weight of the trailer and vehicle being under the tow spec for the truck.. i told him it was BS but they still wouldnt rent it without him renting the truck.. so we paid a local tow yard to bring it home.. main reason it needed towed to begin with was because it didnt have an engine in it.

Does the SD have 4WD?
I know that some of the Suburbans with 4WD are flat towable and they use NV / NP transfers. Yes, I know that the SD uses a heavier unit than what the Suburban uses, but using the 'degrees-to-Kevin-Bacon' logic, both the Burb and SD's transfer case might have come from the same manufacturer. And in using that logic, putting the transfer case in neutral should allow for a flat tow. Naturally, this needs digging into for verifying that the X-fer supports flat towing.
So, if the transfer case supports flat towing, perhaps consider getting a blue-ox setup and install an air-brake actuator in the SD. This way, you can pull the SD wherever the Bus goes.

Too small of a truck by uhaul standards. About the only thing they'll let pull a full-size is going to be a 1ton truck. Their go/no go rule is that the tow vehicle has to outweigh the trailer and the towed vehicle. And no half ton is going to outweigh a suburban and the 2,000lb trailer.
they say even my 1 ton is not allowed to pull the burb and trailer together.. despite my tow rating being 14K..

That's U-Haul. Typical knee jerk like when I worked for them.
Some guy lies, then does something wrong, get's hurt or kills himself or someone else and they get sued.
When I worked for them many years ago I'd get called because the guy had an Explorer pulling an auto transport with a 63 Lincoln Continental on it and the explorer was all over the road. Took one look at it and told him all that was wrong with his setup, looked at his contract and he was supposed to be towing like a mustang behind a Silverado. told him I would have to report he was in violation of his contract. Boy was he pissed!!! Told him he could still tow it but he would be liable for any and all damages.
