I have an Ez-Lynk with Proven Diesel Tunes just recently purchased for my 2017 Ford Superduty F-250.
Can someone in layman’s terms please explain the different TCM tune file descriptions from Proven Diesel? I’m not sure what to expect when it says high shift, medium shift, high pressure, low pressure, or 2nd - Gear lock. I’m a newbie with my diesel and the tunes - and I’m not sure what to expect with the different combinations, especially with what 2nd gear lock will do when I’m just daily driving most of the time. Thanks in advance!!!
Funny I just sent them a ticket this weekend. I was running the 160 HP with a Low-pressure OEM shift. They responded you shouldn't run a high HP tune with the low-pressure shift. So now I'm wondering the same thing as you. Now I'm going to change to a high-pressure tune but wonder if I should do a high or medium shift?
