Does locking out 6th gear....
...change the shifting strategy as controlled by the ECM on a 2014 6.2L? Or are you simply preventing the transmission from shifting into high gear. One would think if you drove it that way for a extended period of time, that the transmission adapt to that limitation. My question is, will the ECM respond immediately with a new shift strategy?
Prob not but I thought I would throw it to the dogs and see if start to chew?
