I am new to the forum. I have acquired a 1980 F150 Ranger. It has 65k on it and is in good condition. A few small areas of rust in the usual places. My question is vendors for parts. Who do you recommend for quality and few BO. Reasonable Shipping cost is also a consideration. All suggestions welcome.
Thank you in advance.

My TABCO wheel arches could have been a little sharper. But you would have to guess all tooling is pretty worn by now. They do come with EDP coating. The floor pan, that doesn't show, was perfectly fine.

First, thank you for your reply. First I'm tackling the brakes. So we will start there. I will be addressing body and bed mounts, than body patch panels and exhaust.
Brake parts I went with local stores other than rear wheel cly.
I went through Rock Auto and a name brand. I installed and bleed the system but never drove the truck as I was still rebuilding it and 1 started leaking.
I was lucky it did not get on the shoes. I went with a different name brand set replacing both again.
Front calipers & pads were also local store.
I cant remember who I got the rubber hoses, 2 front 1 rear, from if local or rock auto?
I got 2 sets of E brake rear cables as 1 set I had to mod to work and the 2nd set was the same.
1 set rock auto the other local.
Master & booster was local.
A lot of where I would get the parts from was how fast I needed it first and who had them 2nd.

dont buy the rubber hose from rockauto or make sure they are not made in china.. I bought raybestos rubber hose which was really sunsong iirc.
both hoses stripped on me. I blamed myself on the first one, the 2nd one I was slow, made sure it was started correctly and it stripped.
It wasn't me, cheap chinese hose.. same brand hose at local parts house except made in taiwan and no problems at all.
