What are you F-450 guys running for grille guards? I had a Ranch Hand Legend installed on my 2022, but it’s very out of spec and has to come off.
I’d replace it with another, but Ranch Hand, their distributor, and the shop that put it on can’t get the exchange figured out. At this point I’m $814 plus tax for the grill guard and shipping, $150 plus tax for the install, now $150 for the removal and another $150 for install of the new one and I have to front the cost of the new one during this process too.
This is leaving me not very eager to deal with another Ranch Hand product if this is how they work, so I need some other ideas. I know options are limited with the camera in the center of the grille on the newer trucks, or I’d go with the Warn Transformer.
Steelcraft elevation. Full bumper replacement And not very much more than you paid for your grille guard.very satisfied with mine. Works with ACC and camera
There is a Texas-based manufacturer called Frontier that makes some nice looking grill guards comparable to the Ranch Hand. I believe some of the company's employees came from Ranch Hand after that company moved some operations to Mexico. I have always used Ranch Hand and my local Ford dealership, which is only 10 miles from Frontier's factory, told me they did not have a very good working relationship with Frontier (they would have to buy x-number of grille guards and they would have to be through a middleman in Dallas some 300 miles away) so I stayed with Ranch Hand when I bought my 21 f250.
Liked it so much I ordered their Fortis rear a week after I installed the front
off topic for a second. How has that hitch been holding up? I’ve had mine for about a month and a half and have used it plenty. Seems gimicky but nice to not hit the shins and have all the sizes I need.

bumper look good too👍
I really like it. I had a weighsafe 2.5” for my 250 but tried this one for a 3”. I think I like it better than the weighsafe

I run that same 3” hitch, and also like it a lot. Not busting my shins when pulling a fifth wheel or goose neck or just walking near the truck is really nice.

I keep mine folded up under the rear seat when not in use. Can be a month or two between uses sometimes. But when I’m pulling trailers and going places for the weekend it’s nice to easily tuck it away. I also live in Michigan and won’t leave it out for the salt to get at it when. It in use. Thanks for the response.
