Before I give up money on a dorman handle, anyone find anything better?
Maybe a billet type that isn't too high priced? Considered junkyard part but still a 40 year old part.
Mine broke at the ****, maybe a cabinet **** can be engineered to work? Haven't given it much thought, other than ask here.

Go to the junkyard and get a passenger side handle. They usually have way less cranking time on them.
that's the best huh? Might as well collect a sack of them if that's what its come to.
and why is k n o b censored lol smh
Can't guarantee used parts but I wouldn't get more than you need at the JY because I think the k n o bs don't wear out that much. Maybe yours was banged up?

none atm, the plastic broke where it connects to the metal. It still works, just no meat to hold on while cranking.
as far as I know it could be a dorman, the truck at one point had power windows, At least the wiring and relay I found appears to point to that.
Here's my Original Equipment XL trim package. I inspected it and compared condition of driver's side vs passenger side and the difference in wear and condition were night and day. The passenger side was like new. The driver's side was looser and it was crunchy when rolling the handle so I lubed it! Still crunchy but better. I'd say your best bet would be a non drivers side crank. Happy JY hunting!
