I can get a hold of a FE 361 block, apparently pulled from a 1970 truck. There are no other engine parts, just the bare cylinder block.
1- Can this be used for a stroker build?
2- if so are there issues with having cylinder head and intake fitment? (plan on edelbrock performer heads and intake)
3- is the distributor bushing a big issue or could machine shop/engine shop make that part?
4- any other fitment issues (motor mounts, flywheel, transmission connection etc)
Have read through quite a few threads but can't tell what is true vs speculation...
Easy to check the bore, just use an inside caliper at several points in the bore. If it's been bored already, consider a sonic check to make sure you can clean it up without ending up too thin cylinder walls.

I will measure that with my calipers...don't know much about the history of block so will have shop sonic check and/or magnaflux it anyways
thanks!
