I have a 2004 6.0 died on my way home out of the blue just replaced an injector ficm reads 48 everthing is fine except ficm logic reads 1v that's it just out of the blue thinking something came loose and has a short but I had a towed back down the road maybe 500 feet give or take well it was dark I thought it was in neutral and when I got it back I had it in reverse the whole time gonna look at it tomorrow but is it possible I messed up the trans we only went maybe 3mph the whole way back and I was towed with the truck going backwards so its not like I was going forward in reverse any insight on any of this would be greatly appreciated

I assume it is an automatic transmission. If so, it was NOT in reverse unless the engine was running. If the engine is off there are only two possible positions no matter where the shift lever was. Park will work with the engine on or off, but with the engine off all positions except park are neutral. If the shifter is in R and the engine is off the transmission is in neutral.
If it is a manual transmission you don't have anything to worry about.
The ficm came with the truck turns out I blew the under hood fuse for ficm, went ahead and ordered a ficm and new harness I can read local and global codes along with basic live read I also have a sct all vitals on the truck look fine, story is I had a contribution code for cyl 7 went ahead a replaced injector went away 2 hours later get a hard miss and now I have a code for cyl 2 contribution
seems like u r throwing parts at it without diaganosing the problem! Forscan is a better code reader. If u post DTC's and live PID data koeo, cranking and koer everone on the following forum can help you make a more logical choice in what part(s) to replace.

Koeo was fine ,has compression, injector click test fine harness had a chafed wire and ficm plugs would no long seat in the unit so ficm and harness aren't out of reason for what could cause if
