Problems are abundant
Hey everyone
New problem with my explorer may be the same, My car seems to shake and jump when i start it, put it in reverse, drive it, sit in drive with brake depressed, and any other time for that matter
i looked under the hood and saw the entire motor seemd to be shaking also. I dont knw if this is the same thing nor did i know if that was normal. But i tihnk my 98 Explorer needs a tune up, hopefully thats the only problem, some people have told me to check the IAC valve, but i dont think it has to do with air flow.
ANyone have any clues, it may be the IAC, just would like some more insight on it. Thanks a lot.

Simple. If the engine moves when you put it in gear, its a broken motor or tranny mount. If it doesnt move but still has the abnormal sounds and such, its an internal tranny or engine problem (meaning something broken inside the engine). I have no clue exactly what it would be but its something to eliminate.
