My wife has a '91 Explorer with a V6, 5 Spd trans, and approx. 108K miles. When starting it up cold, we normally just turn the key (without touching the gas pedal), and the fuel injection system's cold start circuit starts it up just fine, with a fast idle that slows as the engine warms up.
Lately, it stumbles right after starting, and we have to give it a little gas in order for it to run, then it's okay. I'm assuming that a sensor of some sort is malfunctioning, and I'm hoping its something fairly common. Anyone got an idea?
