I know on my '14 it said something like run 1 tank of non ethanol fuel per oil change interval if using E85 as well.

Personally not willing to go through the added steps of using E85 regardless of cost. But you do whats right for you.
I actually pay for top tier fuel ( chevron ) I find I get more miles per tank using it. In my GMC 1500 CCSB 5.3L gets about 45-50 miles less per tank when using ARCO or other brands.

As for E85, there is still the warning to fun a full tank of Gasoline once per every oil change. This makes me think the E85 leaves gunk on the injectors and can lead to early failure. (Not based on anything factual, just my gut feeling). We use E85 for our Gov Non tactical Vehicles on base, they run rough and do not haul well.

From my understanding, all of the brands in a given area get their gasoline from the same set of refiners. The difference is in the additive package, and Top Tier is absolutely worth choosing, even at a price premium. It’s been studied by a few different organizations, and the additive pack makes a meaningful difference in combustion chamber and valve deposits.

Surprised at the lack of input based from a fleet use scenario that would be long term usage based.
Anyone out there out there using E85 in a fleet scenarios over many years of usage?

For what it’s worth, ARCO sells “Top Tier” fuel. I don’t know how different fuel is from one brand to another.
