Remote tailgate release
I recently researched my situation where my tailgate opened without my knowledge. I have a f250 Lariat with the key fob for convenience. My alarm was also triggered unintentionally while the fob was in my pocket. I thought Forscan could allow me to turn off this feature but after much research I found out I could not modify the logic.. Last week my nephew came over with his GM and showed me a cover he had on his fob. I looked up covers for my F250 on good ole Amazon and found a red (truck is ruby red) leather fob cover. I have not had an incident since I put the cover on the fob. Let's hope it works for the long term.

Did you have other things in your pocket that caused it to unintentionally press the button? I guess I could see this somewhat helping, but it could still happen, since you push the button through the case.
