2019 F150 5.0. Truck has a slight miss or hesitation under heavy acceleration. Dealer replaced plugs (no help) has been back 3 additional times and did some “reprogramming “ with no help. Service manager took it home one night and said all good - not!
They cant seem to figure out what is wrong and probably think it’s me. I had an appointment today for a test drive to duplicate the issue but the mechanic that previously worked on it was out??? And I have to return tomorrow.
Also, the apim took a dump for the 5th time. Is Ford doing anything to correct this?

COP - Coil on Plug. Each plug has it's own coil. Which cylinder is misfiring?
As far as the APIM. Sync3 has been a mess from the start. It can not be that difficult to design a trouble free system to operate what little the head unit does with it's overall low number of hours in use. Apple and Android have infinitely more complex systems in a smaller phone packages that usually survive for years with repeated droppings, hot and cold cycles and thousands or tens of thousands of hours of use. If I had that much trouble with a head unit, I would replace it with a quality aftermarket one that will last the life of the truck. That's what I will do if or when the MFT/Sync2 in my truck goes out, but I've never had a problem with it.
