Injector Stiction
I have never used a oil additive should I be using a oil additive for injector stiction?
My truck is a hard start if left out in the cold. I have replaced the glow plugs a couple of years ago.

The 7.3 injector does not have a spool valve, so no stiction so to speak.
Your injectors are worn, assuming you have verified that the glow plug relay is working. Lots of oil additives can mask the issue of worn injectors but in the end, that is the cause of your starting issues.

Oil additive can also increase oil side longevity, but you probably have 200k+ on your injectors and it's time to swap them out. It would also be good to check other things like electrical, fuel pressure, compression etc.

I would not recommend any oil additive. But I totes recommend synthetic oil to help tired injectors keep clicking in their golden years.
