M536A-What is this part and what does it do? It is located as part of the intake right before the throttebody. A hose goes in it and a hose comes out. It seems that it is some kinda vacuum hose or something. I was wondering what the part is for, because it looks to me like it's just an empty box that makes an elbow and gets in the way. Thanks for the help.

The M536a number isnt a part number. It might be a stamping number or something.
Are you talking about a squarish box, about umm 2 inches long with a hose on each end? The hoses would be about 3/4"?
If so that is the intake for the IAC. I believe the box is a muffler sorta thing.
