IAC Gasket Question
A few months ago I had purchased a Motorcraft IAC Valve and Motorcraft paper gasket. When I removed the old original IAC, there was no paper gasket. There was however a rubberized o-ring style gasket which was inlaid onto the throttle body. I replaced the IAC valve without the paper gasket. I am now wondering if that is correct or not. Anyone else use both the paper and rubber, or just one or the other?

Ok fair enough...
I have found that with other gaskets on vehicles, you should use one or the other, not both. I was just confused since it appears they had changed the design at some point.
