Not a good idea unless it is a "trailer-Queen' show vehicle where lighting the road has no relationship.... it is also a "giant flag" for any LEO to red tag the vehicle and even impound it...... FYI
the entire inside won’t be painted, only the outer chrome bucket like many people do, i currently have black painted headlights in my vehicle now, and lights all over my truck.
I’ve never been pulled over once for anything done to it, lift, tires, lights, etc etc.
Not to mention I have 3 gold cards, and about 8 other PBA or FOP cards if needed. Ive never had a ticket in my life, I’d be more worried about my tinted windshield rather than paint matched headlights as being something an LEO would look for.

yeah not painting the entire inside of the headlight or reflector part, just the outer chrome surround. I wouldn’t do anything that would affect the light output as my truck is a daily driven vehicle.
