I bought a used 2018 Expedition back in August. The keyless entry card that is kept with the owner's manual is missing. Is there a way to get the code number online or can a dealer get it for me?
I don't know if it's still true for newer models, but for older models you could look under the driver's side dash (use a flashlight) and look all the way up for a box with a 5-digit white sticker on it. Those 5-digits were the code. If you don't find it try the passenger side, possibly behind the kick panel.
If your tuck has the touchscreen, in vehicle settings, theres a section where it give your the master code. It's been awhile since I had mine so I can't remember the actual option, but it was in one of the settings menus.
Maybe they uped the code length from 5 to 6, it's worth a shot to try it.

My 2018 has a 5 digit code.. My wife's 2019 is the same but you can override it and set any code number you want to use according to the owners manual..
I've looked all under the dash, left and right side, with no luck finding a 5 digit code. I went into vehicle settings on the stereo and you can change the code but you need the factory code in order to do that. I'll be calling a dealer this week for some help.
