1992 E 150 conversion. Took off the 3 pieces of plastic housing around the AC evaporator, and cannot find out how they go back on>
Also spent about two hours trying to find the transmission dipstick 3 books and a big flashlight. Had all the intake hoses off, but nowhere to be found.
Hours on the Web were not helpful - everyone's dipstick seems to be elsewhere than where MINE is.

You're looking for a bright yellow plastic ring on the end of the dipstick. It's straight back from the 1" hose that connects from the snorkel to the air pump. It's up close to the firewall and kinda hidden by a large wiring loom and a hose.It helps to remove the nylon vac lines (3-in one connector) and the line to the MAP sensor for access but be careful that you don't break those lines!
