Priority question

I stopped at my dealer today to see if I could add to my order. They told my my priority went from 19 to 2. Not really sure what that means. I don’t have a VIN yet.

I was thinking about adding the FX package but not really sure the difference between the FX and what I have currently ordered.

I have 4x4, 7.3 motor, LT 275/70 WLAT 18, 3.55 electronic looking, front and rear wheel liner and skid plates. Would it be worth it to change to the FX if I still can? I know the FX has different shocks. Does the FX add any “lift to the front or rear ends?

Thanks,

It adds no lift, the only additional items you would get by adding it are, bed side stickers, "off-road" tuned shocks and hill descent control. It's questionable if the shocks are actually any different, and the hill descent control button can be added for $25 and some Forscan programming.

Thanks for the quick response! What does priority 2 mean? I ordered Adaptive Steering so I’m guessing my order hasn’t really changed since I don’t have a VIN.

Priority 2 is a good thing, but there are still a lot of other things that will determine when you get scheduled.

Also, I think FX4 also include the skid plates.

Correct, but he already has the skid plates on his existing order. The items I listed are what would be gained if he added the FX4 to his existing order.

So based I what I already have, the only gains are different shocks which may not actually add any benefit. Hill descent which also may not add anything and a sticker. I already have the skid plates .

I guess I will stick with what I have.

Thanks,

Thanks,
I came to the same conclusion and just got the skid plates for 100. For the $300 you save you could almost add aftermarket shocks.

Oh, and you still get a bed sticker either way. FX4 vs 4x4.
