One additional thought as I know folks want to spend as little as possible to don't forget the RV surplus suppliers like this one https://bontragers.com/rv-supplies-accessories/. There are many others and they can be shopped online or email. If you can pick up it really saves if what you need is large as "big truck" shipping is really pricey for small quantities. I have used them at times, especially if something is out of production. Finding the right part can often take longer than the actual repair.
heard back from Bontragers. They don't have the door.
I am working with Challenger to see if they will do something or have the direct replacement. Took a better picture of the label for the. Looks like Sep 2012 build date, so I don't think there is any warranty.
Reviving this post. I sought out Challenger door last fall. They had been bought out by Lippert of course. Had to wait until the 1st of the year so they could make the door due to parts change overs and new ways of doing things,
Got the door in late Feb but too cold to install.
Got it done today!
The old before removal Point of failure new door part number inside of new door with the latches it came with New door where I have it ready to join the frame just the new frame installed.
So what I learned in case others want or need to replace a door: I didn't realize the door can slide off the frame Just two rivets at each end of the hinge to drill.
Then the door can be slide out. If I had discovered that I would have attempted to just replace the door and re-use the old frame. May or may not have worked.
Once i discovered they can be taken apart it was easy to lift the frame in place and screw it in.
Then slide the door on, Two rubber piece at each end of the hinge to put in place. These little rubber pieces act as a keeper for the door and keep it aligned. New door they were screwed in so easy enough to put the screw back in.
Door locks are different and did not come with a key so I re-used the old locks.
