1993 part interchange

Finally getting back to working on my 1993 F150 5.0L. Took truck to shop for a cruise issue. Shop says I need a cruise control servo. Part number is F8UZ-9C735-AA. Haven;t been able to find exact part number. Can anyone provide info on interchangeable parts? Thanks

Or if anyone has a good parts they would part with please let me know.

The servo is common to millions of Ford vehicles. The part number difference is triggered by different cable lengths. You can source a servo from a different vehicle then swap your existing cable onto it.

What's better is if that's not the problem as in my case, you're not out big bucks.

Don't think I had to change the cable either, but it's been a while.
