Hello everyone, just became a member and testing this thread. I've got a 1978 F150 Ranger I have some questions about. Is this the right place?

Yep, this is the right place. Welcome! Feel free to ask away, but make sure to include motor, transmission, short or long bed, regular/supercab/crewcab in your post. There are a lot of variations for parts between years and specific trucks so it is helpful.

Welcome.

Be sure to read through the "Stickies", there are lots of tips and answers to questions you haven't even thought of yet. Start a document for notes on your computer and as you read through, copy and paste what applies or may apply to your truck.

They will give you lots of ideas and time/money saving tips.

If you don't find what your looking for specifically, do a search, and if you still can't find an answer, post a new thread.

Like mentioned before, include details on your ride and pictures to help us out.
