Last week I bought a 2005 Ford Ranger with the 3 liter V6, 5 speed automatic, the extra 1/2 doors and it seems to be higher than normal with a beefed up suspension. To be honest I need to better educate myself and go over it with a fine tooth comb. I paid 14,700.00 which I thought was a good deal since it only has 12,000 miles on it. I would like to add carpet or carpeted mats, perhaps some heavy duty bumpers, moon roof, and I have several other "wish list" things I would like to do. This website seems full of great information and I appreciate the welcome. Where is the best place to purchase a Ford service manual for the 2005 Ranger ? I would like to get the old fashion book version if it is available. I plan on crawling under her and learning all I can. ( I am refering to the truck there.) Thanks ! John /Dallas

Great looking truck!!!

The best manuals are the Ford CDs you can get on ebay.

Welcome to FTE from another North Texan, you need anything this is the place to go!

Yep the best manuals are on CD, but a good old fashioned Haynes will serve you well. Autozone will have them.

That's a great looking truck John. I like to see that your neighbor down the street has good sense with his red Ranger, lol.
