I have a 2003 V-10 and I assume there is a fuse for the backup lights. The crappy #@!%&%$@# manual only shows one for the diesel at position 8. I swear this X has been nothing but a PIA for weird stuff. Anyone know? Thanks
F27 powers a whole lot of things, not just the backup lights. If it were blown, you'd be experiencing a lot more issues that are far more obvious than no reversing lamps. You did not mention any of those so it's highly unlikely that the fuse is your issue.
CJB F27 is a feed off the ignition switch that is a HOT IN RUN circuit, therefore its "description" in the owner's manual.

Reverse lights on the EX or for a trailer? I ask because the diesel EXs came setup for trailer reverse lights but the gassers have to add a relay and fuse to make them work.

Is the wire for reverse lights that you refer to actually there to be used in reverse to trigger a surge brake solenoid? Or, either/or?
I know my gassed has reverse trailer lights, maybe someone added before I got it. If you look at the pdf 13-5 it shows relay k357 and fuse 38 for the reverse trailer lights.
