Tire size

just wondering what a good tire size is for a 53M100, I have 17" wheels and was thinking of rear 285/40/17 and front 255/45/17. which equals at 26" tall tire..curious to know what other are running..

On my pickup I'm running with 235/70/R15 up front, 28inch tall and on the rear I'm running 255/70/R15, 29.1 inch tall

Comparable sizes with 17 inch rims would be 235/60/R17 and 275/55/R17

It will work but not fill the opening as much, taller sidewall gives a softer ride too..it's a matter of what you like

yeah I was just wondering if it’s to wide and cause any sort of interference. It’s only 3/4” wider than your 235’s.
im now looking at the nitto nt555 g2
255/50/17 27.02” tall, 10.43” wide
275/50/17 27.87” tall, 11.18” wide
according to there web site.

Along with pictures & tires size, can you guys post your ride height like how far your front & rear frame is off the ground? Plus center line width & wheel offset. Thanks

That’s basically the stance I’m going for. Low but not to low that you can’t do parking lot speed bumps.

I like this height so you can actually roll a floor jack under it to lift it, I had to raise my panel because it was too low and you needed to drive it up on blocks before you could jack it up, plus entering some driveways you have to make sure you entered on and angle or you were rubbing one of the corners..

front is 7 1/4" bottom of bumper and 14 1/2" bottom of rear frame rail. The main crossmember does scrape sometimes but then I'm still using the stock main crossmember that the bell housing mounts to.
