on my 02 frd i'm getting a P1456 code.what does that mean?

Thats a good question.. I don't see that code as a ford code. Maybe someone else has a better source. Is your scanner set for the right vehicle?

not sure,a friend has the code checker.he told me the code.

Get it read again. As noted, that code is not used by Ford.
