That's exactly the way I read it, but the dealership has been less than enthusiastic about helping me every step of the way. As we get closer to the 1/3/22 deadline, I'll try to get a more beneficial answer.
Methinks you should propose staging an order at a competing Ford dealer to see what they say. You may then have some ammo to use against your dealer. The pessimist in me wonders why the dealer is pulling your strings.

As usual for me, nothing is ever that easy! I traded my 2018 Platinum back in June when I ordered. So, if I go to a different dealer, I lose the sale tax advantage (in Texas you only pay sales tax on the difference between the new price & the trade allowance). So, I'm pretty much stuck with this dealer - there's $875 more in the sales tax savings than this PCO. Is it criminal to want both? lol
I just got a $3,500 PCO. It says you must "Place order or take new retail delivery from an authorized Ford or Lincoln Dealer’s stock by 1*/*3*/2*2." I ordered 6/14, and my dealer says it doesn't qualify because the offer is for orders placed in the 4th quarter. He did infer that if I could take delivery by 1/3/22 it would be applied. At first I asked him to "lock in" the offer having read about that elsewhere, and he said he couldn't lock in "private" offers, only "public" ones. Now I REALLY need them to build my truck and deliver by the end of the year!!!
I ordered mine 8/10 build date was 10/25 then moved to 11/8 I have VIN is this a good sign or BAD.
