2018 F150 - Cannot open hood

The hood release inside the cab of my truck is broken... so I cannot pop the hood. Is there a DIY way to get the hood open that is not too difficult? Thank you.!

Had a 2006 F350 that, when you pulled the latch inside, nothing seemed to happen (nothing moved), but if I pulled it, then walked to the hood, I could lift it and release the secondary latch.

try that - release it inside, then see if the hood lifts up to get at the secondary latch.

i think the wire assembly connecting inside latch to hood is broke. i appreciate the suggestion but it didn't work. thank you.

Usually it breaks at the handle. Take the side kick panel off, see if you can pull inner cable with pliers. Try Nedle nose and wrap the inner cable around them.
