Flywheel Question?????
Asking for a friend. Is the flywheel on a 240 in a stock 65 F100 with a HD 4 speed the same as a flywheel in an early carb 300?
Is the bolt pattern the same on the 240 & 300 crankshaft?

Pattern is the same. My WAG is that it will work, both being older engines. Both engines are neutral balance so there should be no balance issue. As with so many things, there are multiples over the years. Read on here--towards the end it clears things up a little and note the caution on the pressure plate attachment. A little bit off can give you a paint shaker.
