Up pipe leaks into the turbo could cause a loss of power. Trapped air could do it. Water in fuel could do it.
I guess you could remover the main fuel pump filter on the bottom of the truck and drain out some diesel. You should be able to see the water separate if you have water in it. drain it and see if any water comes out. It's supposed to capture small amounts of water
Thanks guys for the responses and advice. It turns out that it was a one of the three FICM plugs. The snaps had broken off some time in the past and one of them was not fully seated into the connector. I reseated it and it started right up and ran good. Looks like I'm good to go. Thanks again for all of the help with this one. With as much grief as this 6.0 is giving me, I don't expect that this will be the last time I seek out the advice of members of this forum....

A loose FICM plug frequently throws a DTC or two. Do you have a good code reader?
I have a dashboss blue reader on my iphone that I have been using. I haven't tried to pull DTC's from it yet though, but I will check it out. Thanks bismic.
