dumb question

ok, lately my dome lights have not been turning off, i sprayed inside the door where the connector is with wd-40, and that works, but in the process i opened my fuse box, checked a few fuses, now my turn signals do not work, the lights are on but they do not flash, i havn't done any work on lighting for a few years now and i am out of ideas, i checked the fuse, but i kinda remember that there was a flasher relay, is there one? is that the problem?

There is a flasher relay box under the dash on the drivers side. There is a thread a little farther down regarding it. I'd start by checking that all the fuses are seated tight.

Do your hazzards work?

You may want to check that the hazard flasher button is not pushed up half-way. This has happened to me on my Aerostar (bumped it with my knee) and when I try to turn on my signal light it doesn't flash, just solid green. Sounds like the same problem. Simple fix, pull the hazard flasher back down.
