Ahh nice. If you could get some more pics of the actual bracket on the frame side and by the shock that would be much appreciated! Definitely gonna look into this!
are... You... are those weights exclusively to make your truck have suspension travel?? thats.. one way of doing it LOL
I mean, since you have a mall crawler(love meant with that I think) wouldnt you like 2wd since.. well.... better ride?
Pretty sure he's doing that, because it's his sled-pulling rig. Hence why he calls it his "race truck" The weight is to keep the nose down, when you're hammering on it while pulling. Same reason you put weight plates on the front of a tractor.
The short panhard bar and it and the drag link being at an angle are your problems. Both bars need to be as long as possible to ease the arch that they travel in. I don't have a panhard and steer off of the pass side knuckle - king pin 60 - no BS at all,and a lot more lift.

idfk what a sled is in any reference that isn’t snow. But it makes sense
truck pulling AuroraGirl! have you never heard of truck or tractor pulling?
I have. But driving on road and not using bed had me thinking something that would be like… noT that. Plus, it’s not called a sled here. Infact no one here uses a word to reference it.
Yes track bar & drag link would ideally be equal length, parallel, and pivot at the same points. Super stiff suspension could mask the issue but the way to solve it is have steering and axle move on the same arc together.
Shoot man sorry. Ive been busy with life stuffs. Heres some sketches of what I built Weld to the frame. Other end welds to the leaf spring plate Use a bushing of your choice and make your brackets to fit.
