What's acceptable?

I'm trying to get my power steering conversion wrapped up so that I can limp my truck to a shop.. but if I can get a good, safe, temporary fix for it that will work too. I got the tie rod, drag link and box in place, but I don't like the drag link angle. It sticks way too far forward, but the power steering box is all the way back on the frame... so I don't know what to do. I could mount the box as far forward as possible, and have the pitman run inward, but then my steering would be backwards...lol.

What do you think?

I haven't put my drop pitman on yet, so it will sit about 6-7" lower, but it will still be out that far...

That is looking pretty good the way it is. The angle with regards to the tie rod (foward) is not that critical. The important angle is the angle up and down. Remember to keep the trac bar, and the drag link the same.
I dont even think you need to drop it any further. You do need to fix that bent tie rod though.
Another question, Whats up with the little bags? Loks like they really limit compression cycles. I don't remember seing those before. Are they new?
Also, speaking of suspension cycles, the drop bracket for the track bar may have to be trimmed as well, looks like it may get in the way during a driver side compress cycle.
Looking good though man.

I will be putting a new drag link and tie rod on, I just needed some to use to see how it would all be set up. The bags were put on by the previous owner. I never did like them, but when inflated the truck drives like a dream, so I kept them on there. I plan on removing them and putting a few inch taller coils in, but funds haven't allowed me to do that as I have had to replace one thing after another. The track bar mount definately needs to be trimmed, I will get that done while I am drilling holes for the box.

Thanks!
