I like the BAFX brand of OBDII adapter, BlueTooth for Android and WiFi for iOS. They are inexpensive and reliable (just a little slower and a few less features).
OBDLink MX+ is a better adapter, but more expensive.
I don't see people outside of enthusiasts using the Ultra though Mark; way more common to see some still using G05, especially when the truck is "bone stock."
Rhughes123, what is the color of the coolant in the truck?
I agree, but just want to cover all bases. Who knows, maybe he knows exactly what his coolant was. Also, these threads get read by so many other folks. Good to have the added detail I think.
Just an aside, but IMHO, its unconscionable for car cos. to not include ForScan capability in the factory screen display. All these downloads and adapters are BS. Right to repair!
IMHO, SG is not worth the money - the display is too small, not enough info available fast enough or at one time. When mine got stolen, I went wireless with Torque Pro and Forscan on my phone. ForscanPC was a free download for my Bluetooth laptop and connects great with more functionality.
