2000 to 2003 dash swap
Hello there fellow ford enthusiasts. I am in a bit of a pickle. I have recently purchased a 2002 ford f350 crew cab long bed 7.3 with the zf6 in it. The guy I got it from his brother rolled the truck and he swapped a cab from a 2003 truck. The truck is running and driving but he mentioned a plug not being the same. (Pinned differently). He said swapping the dash and harness from a 2000 7.3 auto parts truck I have would work. I pulled the dash out of the 2003 cab with harness and continued to pull out the dash from the 2000. How ever in the process of pulling it I noticed the harness going into the engine bay of the 2000 7.3 there are 3 big plugs plugging into the firewall. In which the engine bay harness plugged into that. But on the 2003 cab the harness just went straight through the firewall. I thought the harnesses all ran the same in those years. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. I'm sorry if I explained it wrong and I'll do my best to provide pictures for better visual understanding.
