Having trouble finding a leak in my C6. seems to be the front of the pan (deep sump B&M). replaced the gasket with high dollar one and still leaking. I know it's not the shift shaft seal, the cooler line connections. Leaks while sitting in the garage and accumulates on the bottom front of the pan, lowest point.
Could the pan be warped?
Is the fluid level above the pan gasket when at rest?

Did you use any sort of sealant on the big money gasket, both sides? I'd hate to think a B&M pan would be warped, thought they were cast metal and not stamped?
Actually I used two gaskets. One standard stuck to pan with just a few dabs of sealant and reusable gasket with a metal sandwich and no sealer. I need to get under again and try to track it down but it's lowered and hard to get it high enough off the ground. should have taken more time while I had it way off the ground. I'm thinking the pan level would be below the gasket at rest.
Do't think so as the original style is very thin and I had the same problem with the previous tranny. I have a new Hughes street strip. I'll have to revisit the temp sensor and drain plug but they didn't seem to be the problem
The fluid level will be above the pan rail at rest. When the C6 in my truck is cold the fluid is probably 2 or 3 inches higher on the stick than when it's running.
