Computer issues with 03 excursion 6.8 V10

I am currently in need of a new computer/fusebox assembly and am unable to find one. Does anyone have any pointers? I found one in great condition off the same make/model and year and pulled it. I'm not sure yet if it will work. Im waiting on the shop to try and install it. Thank you for any help

So is it the fuseblock that needs replacing or the computer (PCM)? Is this due to a leaking windshield?
The fuse block should be interchangeable with a like year and model.

Its actually the PCM. I was just going the route of a full assembly. I found one of the same year make and model but am still unsure if it will work. To my knowledge there isnt a leaking windshield. I just bought the vehicle and it seems to be in great condition otherwise. It would explain the corrosion in the pins though.

Same year, trim and engine should share the same PCM, but there could be a hiccup due to production changes during the year. But it should be able to be reflashed to your current program.

Thank you for your insight. Helped put my mind at ease. The shop is having a hard time sourcing one and I got lucky and was able to pull one from a recently totaled carbon copy of my EX. I hope it works out because this thing is a unicorn and I dont want to have to let it go, it is nearly mint inside and out and has low miles.

If the replacement does not work, or is damaged itself, here's my story...

I have an 03 V10 and live in SoCal...where it rarely rains, but I had water intrusion due to the known windshield leak. I didn't believe it myself, lol.

In my case it took out the soldered on fuel relay on the CJB, which caused a random stall that neither the dealer, nor the engineers in Detroit, could figure out (6-week process)

It's a known problem and there are guys on ebay that can rebuild your CJB. Cheap too. I believe the seller I used was in Virginia or west Virginia.

Search it out on eBay

Good news! I pulled the computer and fuse box from an exact model excursion at a wrecking yard for 75 dollars and it worked! I also pulled a 3rd seat for 100 dollars which is in brand new condition. The only problem now is the trailer backup lights are inop. Which to me is small issue as I can do a work around. Thank you all for your help.

Trailer reverse lights were only configured for diesel EXs, I have no idea why but the gassers need a relay added and a fuse put in an empty slot. Look in the owner's manual for the relay and fuse locations. This is on my to-do list for my TT.
