Hey all, im building a 460 to go in my bumpside f100. Gonna be a street/strip deal.
D0VE-A block and bottom end (factory 11cc dish pistons)
ported & polished D0VE-C heads with cobra jet valves
offy port o sonic intake
quickfuel brawler 850 carb
currently i have a comp 280h (dur. @50 .230/.230 lift .530/.530)
i know the cam is a little small so i found a deal on a lunati solid roller (dur. @50 .252/.260 lift .650/.650). Do yall think this cam would be too big for my combo?
one day i might add a nitrous plate but thats in the future.
Truck is around 3800-3900lbs and gonna be running a c6 trans. 29” tire and 3.70 gears. Any help is appreciated! Thanks

 

IMO,with 11cc pistons,D0VE C's...and a heavyish vehicle,you will be right on the edge of needing race gas.
