Help. I have a 2011 F250 6.7 4x4. I've deleted the truck with a H&S tuner and I was obviously expecting a gain in mpg. It seems to have gotten worse. I've had it since 2015 and deleted it shortly after. So almost 6 years its been deleted. When it wasn't I was getting around 10-12 mpg and when I deleted it I got like 9-11.5 mpg. I've tried putting in stock, tow, street, performance and the higher i go the better but only a little bit. I've tried driving like grandpa and still nothing. I normally run around in stock or tow. I thought maybe a cold air intake would help. But any tips would be wonderful!
Something is not right. If you have a reputable diesel performance shop maybe take it there to figure it out. Could be the tune but the fact you were getting 10-12 mpg before the delete points to something else.
Mine was getting 16-17 mpg before delete and 17-19 after on the high way. Right now I have 25K miles on the delete and the avg mpg over that time is 16.7 mpg.

I have a feeling something isn't right either. But the truck drives just fine other than the drive shaft clunk. But I really dont have anyone around here to work on it.
I’ll ask the question that has not been asked………are you “rolling coal” ? IF so, there is your answer, if not, maybe worn injectors?
trying to diagnose over the ‘net is nearly impossible, so you likely need to find a good tech somewhere in yopur area.
Like every once in awhile. I normally don't because I'm just not that kinda person. The truck has really good power and I just feel like I'm doing something wrong. I personally think its the tuner.
If the MPG decrease occurred after uploading the H&S calibration and has been this way for years, a poor tune can certainly cause issues. Do you have the original 2011 turbo or the 2015 replacement?

I have the original 2011. And would I have to take it to a shop to mess with the tuner so they can try and calibrate it? Or just switch over to a different tuner?
