Help. I have a 2011 F250 6.7 4x4. I've deleted the truck with a H&S tuner and I was obviously expecting a gain in mpg. It seems to have gotten worse. I've had it since 2015 and deleted it shortly after. So almost 6 years its been deleted. When it wasn't I was getting around 10-12 mpg and when I deleted it I got like 9-11.5 mpg. I've tried putting in stock, tow, street, performance and the higher i go the better but only a little bit. I've tried driving like grandpa and still nothing. I normally run around in stock or tow. I thought maybe a cold air intake would help. But any tips would be wonderful!
Your post says you've owned the truck since 2015 and it was deleted in 2015. Had the fuel economy been this bad for the last 6 years or did it all of the sudden get worse recently? Trying to figure out if you have been dealing with this issue for all this time or something changed recently to make the MPG nose dive.

Pretty much the whole time. Really in the last couple of years its got worse. Truck had 130k originally now it has 199k.
Have you / can you get code pulls? Many places will do it for free, and while they are doing it make sure to hold the throttle through different rpm ranges if they can only do it in a parking lot.
A couple of years ago my truck's HPFP was going out but the dash light wasn't turning on. I had no high-end power because the pump couldn't provide enough pressure. The fuel economy slowly started dropping.
It would be good to see a live feed of your rail pressure. If you are running a hot tune, your HPFP might not be able to keep up. If your pressure is low then the injectors won't be able to spray properly to atomize the fuel.
When was the last time you changed your fuel filters? They could be restricting flow as well.
The turbo is a VGT and the actuator can be going bad making it stuck in one position making its optimal range very minimal.
I have a 2011 F250 Crew Cab Long Box with 3.31 rear. I was getting 18-20 mpg when my truck was completely stock on stock tires at 65 mph.

I have my own snap on scanner. I have H&S tuner so that could be why. And i just recently changed the fuel filters a couple months ago. I will take it on a test drive to see the pressure. The truck is a regular cab with a 3.55 axle. And the actuator could be bad to since its a higher mileage is 6.7. But to me I feel very confident its the tuner.
