accelerator cable 92 f350
Son bought a new to him 1992 f350 low mileage 7.3 non turbo. Accelerator cable gave up on way home. We bought one at the parts store and got it going CA8683 from the irish place. There is a lot of extra cable at the top of the pedal so you lose some pedal throw. Forum search shows f1tz-98758-u as the cable to fit all IDI models but i see it was made for 90 and older. I am seeing that cable as being 42.2 inches long as opposed to 37.2 inches long on the irish one
Can anyone shed some light? My IDI experience was a long time ago and cannot remember ever running into this.
He got a good low mileage rust free truck with a lot maintenance records. Guy even filled it up. Just has this little glitch in the cable.

I bought 2 from Taska Parts, these are genuine OEM.
They may ask for your Vin#. to get the right fitment.
